As of January 25, 2023, the Eta Sigma Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society located at Stephen F. Austin State University has an in-department tutoring program. The program is targeted towards history majors, minors, and public history minors that are taking any upper level history course.

Eta Sigma Public History graduate students wrapped up the "Cultural Landscapes" course taught by Dr. Perky Beisel on Dec 12, 2023 with presentations over their semester papers.

Eta Sigma Secretary Hannah Lau recently volunteered at the Caddo Culture Day on December 2, 2023.
